Job Description

In this role, you will play a crucial part in performing precise and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology while upholding the highest standards of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality diagnostic exams following proper verification protocols and physician directives.
- Gather accurate patient histories and document them accordingly in medical records.
- Ensure patient safety and monitor individuals throughout procedures.
- Execute radiographic procedures using suitable methods tailored to patient abilities.
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including customer service, medical staff, and peers.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and adhere to quality control guidelines.
- Provide patient education prior to each examination.
- Contribute to department efficiency through collaboration and compliance with standards.
- Assist in training efforts for new team members and students.
- Maintain competency in a range of diagnostic areas and procedures.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT certification required upon hire.
- CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT certification within 180 days of hire.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA certification required upon hire.
