Job Description
We are currently seeking a talented Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health on a full-time basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our mission to provide exceptional care through accurate and efficient diagnostic imaging services.
General Summary
As a Radiology Technologist at Corewell Health, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology under supervision. You will ensure the highest quality images for interpretation and adhere to radiation protection principles and regulations. Additionally, you will provide clinical instruction as necessary and uphold our commitment to Patient and Family Centered Care.
Essential Duties
- Perform quality diagnostic exams with attention to patient safety and image accuracy.
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide necessary care.
- Effectively operate diagnostic imaging equipment following protocols.
- Assist in training new hires and students.
- Maintain competency in various radiology procedures.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Certified Radiographer (ARRT) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
