Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Matheny School and Hospital. This full-time position in our Group Homes program offers the opportunity to provide skilled nursing care to individuals with complex developmental disabilities, while also fostering a warm and nurturing environment for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary nurse for a caseload of community residents.
- Provide skilled professional nursing care and document health information accurately.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure continuity of care and implementation of care plans.
- Conduct education sessions for staff on residents' health issues and treatment.
- Participate in interdisciplinary teamwork and performance improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Nursing required, Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred.
- One year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Valid New Jersey Registered Professional Nurse license and Driver's License.
