Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse - Pediatrics

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse to join Pediatric Associates of Greater Salem Inc. As the Care Team Nurse, you will be the clinical leader responsible for maintaining smooth operation, managing high-risk patients, providing education to patients and families, delivering direct care and laboratory services, and handling telephone and direct triage under the supervision of the Pediatrician, Nurse Practitioner, and Nurse Manager.

Job Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in infection control and age-appropriate pediatric care.
• Assess the physical, emotional, and socio-economic needs of clients and families, providing referrals when necessary.
• Provide urgent care, triage, and crisis management both in-office and via telephone.
• Document nursing care accurately using EMR, facilitate communication among stakeholders, and administer treatments professionally.
• Follow up with patients post-discharge to prevent complications and coordinate necessary services.
• Maintain pediatric-focused education and training, adhere to practice policies, and meet physical demands of the role.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Familiarity with EMR, Microsoft Office, and HIPAA compliance.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with current RN or LPN license in Massachusetts.
• Maintain BLS certification and CEUs as required.
• Adhere to American Nursing Association Standards of Practice.
