Position Title: Resident Monitor/Security (Part-time Weekend shifts) Glover House

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Resident Monitors in a correctional residential setting. As a security monitor, you will be responsible for supervising adult male ex-offenders, maintaining accountability, and ensuring adherence to safety and security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor residents in various facility areas.
• Enforce house rules and security measures.
• Perform regular surveillance checks both inside and outside the facility.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately.
• Attend training sessions and staff meetings as scheduled.
• Assist with new resident intake and orientation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior work experience in corrections or related field preferred.
• Clearance of background checks, physical exam, and drug screening.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to de-escalate crisis situations and interact positively with staff and residents.

Working Conditions

This role involves working in a correctional halfway house environment that operates 24/7.

Physical Demands

Must be capable of climbing stairs, sitting for extended periods, and providing First Aid/CPR.
