Rotating Equipment Repair Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Rotating Equipment Repair Engineer to join ITT, Inc. as part of the PRO Services shop in Colfax, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing quotes, procuring drawings, and providing inside sales support for repair and upgrade work on rotating equipment. If you have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and 3-5 years of experience in the field, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Handle quotations and pricing in collaboration with Sales and General Manager.
• Produce drawings for parts manufacturing or repair.
• Ensure shipments are scheduled to meet customer requirements.
• Provide customer support and recommend upgrades.
• Monitor job progress and subcontractor quality.
• Communicate effectively with management on ongoing jobs.
• Contribute to safety, shipments, cost savings, and quality goals.
• Support Customer needs on hot jobs with flexibility for after-hours response.
• Manage projects from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in pump and rotating equipment repair or service.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office; Creo experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Compensation

Yearly Salary: $61,000 - $91,300
