Senior Development Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Development Officer to join Enterprise Community Partners, a national nonprofit dedicated to providing affordable housing solutions. As a Senior Development Officer, you will collaborate with program teams to cultivate, solicit, and steward funders, contributing to our organization's fundraising goals and impact. Responsibilities

• Immerse in Enterprise's mission and national programs to inform fundraising strategy.
• Collaborate with program staff to articulate programming and develop case statements for funders.
• Build customized fundraising strategies for new and renewable funders.
• Cultivate relationships with local, regional, and national funders.
• Organize and participate in meetings, events, and tours with prospects and funders.
• Write and submit fundraising proposals, concept papers, and stewardship documents.
• Create customized funder proposals and impact reports.
• Devise unique recognition opportunities for funders.
• Maintain up-to-date records in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in corporate and foundation fundraising.
• Track record in securing 6-figure gifts.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Knowledge of community development and affordable housing industry a plus.
