Senior Engineering Manager - Civil

Job Description

Moody and Associates, Inc. (Moody) is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to join our Civil Engineering practice. In this role, you will manage and design technical activities for land development plans serving commercial, institutional, municipal, and energy clients.

Job Purpose

• Manage tasks on multiple projects according to high project management standards.
• Develop proposals, scopes of services, and cost estimates.
• Create and deliver qualifications and project plans.
• Communicate project plans across departments for successful product launch.
• Monitor project progress, cost control, and reporting.
• Coordinate with team members, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
• Mentor staff, handle submittals, and manage project documentation.

• Have proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook for project management.
• Apply engineering principles effectively and lead multiple projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional engineering license in PA; additional state licenses preferable.
• 10+ years of civil engineering experience with staff management.
• Expertise in site development; experience in related engineering projects advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, and engineering programs.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and collaborative skills.
• Compliance with safety and drug & alcohol policies.
• Ability to travel between Moody office locations.
