Job Description
SPECIAL PROCEDURE TECH - Full-Time
Join Corewell Health as a Special Procedure Tech responsible for providing direct care pre, intra, and post for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures. You will assist physicians, deliver quality patient/family centered care, and perform a variety of technical tasks.
Essential Duties
- Monitor patients during procedures, provide technical support, and deliver quality care.
- Perform IV starts, hemodynamic monitoring, equipment operation, and document procedures.
- Maintain radiation safety standards and ensure patient/family education.
Standard Qualifications
- Education/Training: Completion of accredited radiography program or cardiovascular technologist program.
- Work Experience: Clinical experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
- Certification/Licensure: BLS, ACLS, and other relevant certifications.
