General Summary:
The Special Procedure Tech at Corewell Health provides direct care for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, assisting physicians and ensuring quality patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients during procedures
- Provide technical support and patient care
- Perform hemodynamic calculations
- Communicate effectively with team members and patients
- Maintain radiation safety standards
- Participate in specialized procedures per department requirements
Standard Qualifications:
- Completion of accredited radiography programs or equivalent training
- 1 year experience in specialized procedures
- Relevant certifications: BLS, ACLS, Registered RCES/RCIS/RT
- Strong communication and customer service skills
