Job Description
Corewell Health is currently seeking a full-time Special Procedure Tech to join our team. As a Special Procedure Tech, you will provide direct care to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, ensuring quality patient-focused care throughout the process. This role involves assisting physicians, monitoring patients, performing technical tasks, and educating patients and families on procedures and post-care.
General Summary
- Provide direct care pre, intra, and post procedures.
- Assist physicians and deliver quality patient/family centered care.
- Perform IV starts, monitor hemodynamics, document procedures, and provide patient education.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited radiography program for Interventional Radiology.
- Graduate of Cardiovascular Technologist program or equivalent for Cath Lab/EP Lab.
- 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab or IR.
- Valid certifications required per specialty.
