Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Special Procedure Tech to join Corewell Health's team. As a Special Procedure Tech, you will provide direct care to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures. Your responsibilities will include assisting physicians, monitoring patients, performing IV starts, documenting procedures, and ensuring patient/family education.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during invasive procedures.
- Provide technical support and quality care to patients.
- Perform hemodynamic/physiologic recordings.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff and patients.
- Maintain radiation safety standards.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited radiography program or relevant cardiovascular technologist training.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
- Basic computer skills and exceptional communication abilities.
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications.
