Job Description
We are looking for a Special Procedure Tech to join Corewell Health's team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will provide direct care to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, ensuring quality patient/family-centered care. The position involves assisting physicians, monitoring patients, performing IV starts, documenting procedures, and educating patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients undergoing invasive procedures.
- Provide intra-procedural support and quality care.
- Perform and record hemodynamic/physiologic waveforms.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, physicians, and patients.
Requirements
- Educational background in radiography or cardiovascular technology.
- 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
