Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Special Procedure Tech to join our team at Corewell Health. In this role, you will provide direct care to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, supporting physicians and delivering high-quality patient-centered care throughout the process. Your responsibilities will include IV starts, patient preparation, hemodynamic monitoring, equipment operation, procedure documentation, vascular access management, and patient/family education.
Responsibilities
- Support patients during invasive and interventional procedures.
- Deliver technical assistance and quality patient care during procedures.
- Perform hemodynamic/physiologic recordings as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with team members, physicians, and patients while upholding Corewell Health standards.
- Ensure equipment quality and safety standards are maintained.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited radiography program for Interventional Radiology.
- Graduate of Cardiovascular Technologist program or equivalent for Cath Lab/EP Lab.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
- Relevant certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and RT status.
- Strong communication, computer, and customer service skills.
