Unit Summary:
Hall 1 is a 40-45 bed long-term care unit that offers residents daily activities along with a wide range of services and support. Hall 1 is a subacute rehabilitation unit with high complexity needs. Staff members must be compassionate, motivated, and dedicated to helping residents.
Job Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing, utilizing nursing principles and basic physical assessment skills to develop and implement individualized nursing care plans for residents. The LPN will oversee daily unit operations and assume leadership responsibilities as needed.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in nursing
- Less than one year of experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Licensed Practical Nurse license and AHA CPR Certification
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical tools and equipment
