Summary
Join our team at Levindale Hospital in the Subacute Rehabilitation Unit. We are currently looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate care to residents with diverse needs. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing to ensure the well-being of our residents.
Unit Summary
Hall 1 is a 40-45 bed long-term care unit specializing in subacute rehabilitation. Our team members in Hall 1 are dedicated to providing daily activities and comprehensive support services to residents with high complexity needs. Compassion, motivation, and dedication are essential qualities for this role.
Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse plays a vital role in developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans. You will be responsible for attending to daily unit operations, providing basic physical assessments, and assuming leadership responsibilities when required. A general understanding of nursing principles and basic assessment skills are required for this position.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in nursing or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- License for Practical Nursing and AHA CPR Certification
- Less than one year of experience
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical equipment
