Physical Therapist

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist to join The University of Vermont Medical Center team. As a Physical Therapist, you will provide essential physical therapy services to patients across various health conditions. You will be responsible for diagnosing and managing movement dysfunction, enhancing physical abilities, and improving the quality of life through movement and health. Additionally, you will play a key role in preventing impairments, limiting disabilities, and educating patients and their families on post-discharge care.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy to patients with diverse health needs.
• Diagnose and manage movement dysfunction.
• Enhance physical and functional capabilities.
• Promote optimal quality of life through movement and health.
• Work collaboratively in therapy and multidisciplinary teams.
• Educate and prepare patients/families for post-discharge care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's of Science or higher degree in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed or eligibility for licensure in the State of Vermont.
