Clinical Response Coordinator (RN-Paramedic)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Clinical Response Coordinator (RN-Paramedic) to join Mid South Transplant, a reputable organization facilitating life-saving organ and tissue donations in the Mid-South region for over 45 years. As a Clinical Response Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in evaluating potential organ and tissue donors by conducting on-site assessments at donor hospitals within a 3-hour radius of Memphis, TN.

Responsibilities

• Determine the initial suitability of potential organ and tissue donors through on-site visits and evaluation of medical records.
• Communicate effectively with hospital and physician teams to assess case dynamics and identify clinically significant information.
• Collaborate with Mid-South Transplant Foundation staff to ensure timely and accurate communication of medical suitability for donation.

Requirements

• Experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in an ICU setting is preferred, or Advanced EMT/Paramedic certification.
• Degree in a medical or related field is acceptable.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical or hospital experience.

Working Hours

Full-time position with a 12 to 15 days per month work schedule. The role includes 24-hour on-call shifts, 2 weekends per month, and some holidays.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: $60,000 - $74,000 per year based on experience.
