As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing school buses to ensure vehicle readiness and safety. Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and DOT maintenance inspections on school buses.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle components including brakes, suspensions, and transmissions.
• Ensure accurate completion of work orders and assist with emergency services when needed.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and willingness to obtain CDL while employed.
• Minimum of 5 years of automotive or diesel maintenance experience or technical school education.
• Possess a mechanic's tool set and be willing to participate in an ASE certification program.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical requirements.
