Job Description: Diesel or Automotive Mechanic
We are seeking a skilled Diesel or Automotive Mechanic to join our team at First Student, the largest school transportation provider in North America. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will help maintain and repair school buses to ensure vehicle readiness and safety, while providing guidance to lower-level technicians.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and annual DOT maintenance inspections.
- Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repair.
- Ensure accurate completion of work orders.
- Provide assistance with mobile emergency services.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license; willingness to obtain CDL while employed.
- 1-5 years of automotive or diesel maintenance & repair experience or technical school education.
- Mechanic's tool set required.
- Willingness to participate in the ASE certification program.
- Subject to DOT drug testing and physical requirements.
