We are looking for a skilled Diesel or Automotive Mechanic to join our team at First Student, the largest school transportation provider in North America. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our school buses. Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair school buses to guarantee safety and readiness.
• Provide guidance to junior technicians.
• Assist with preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and annual DOT maintenance checks.
• Diagnose and perform repairs on various vehicle components.

Requirements

• 1-5 years of automotive or diesel maintenance experience OR technical school education.
• Valid driver's license (CDL training provided).
• Mechanic's tool set.
• Willingness to participate in ASE certification program.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical.
