Job Description
Mid-South Transplant Foundation is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Response Coordinator. In this role, you will play a vital part in the donation process, evaluating potential organ and tissue donors to help save lives. Responsibilities
- Perform on-site visits to donor hospitals within a 3-hour radius of Memphis, TN.
- Determine the initial suitability of potential organ and tissue donors by assessing clinical data and communicating with hospital/physician teams.
- Evaluate specific case dynamics and relay clinically significant information to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Assess medical records and conduct bedside assessments to determine initial medical suitability for donation.
Working Hours
Full-time position with 12 to 15 days per month. 24-hour shift call schedule. Availability required for 2 weekends per month and some holidays.
Qualifications
- Experience as an RN in an ICU setting preferred, or Advanced EMT/Paramedic.
- Degree in a medical or related field is acceptable.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical or hospital experience required.
- Salary range: $60,000 to $74,000 per year based on experience.
