Job Description
We are looking for a Tech in Charge to join our team at First Student, the leading school transportation provider in North America. As the Lead Diesel Mechanic for the Vashon Island School District, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our fleet to ensure safe and reliable transportation for students.

Responsibilities
- Schedule and perform maintenance on school bus fleet.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex vehicle issues.
- Supervise technicians and track work progress.
- Maintain knowledge of vehicle components for effective repairs.
- Monitor shop efficiency and make improvements as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license; willingness to obtain CDL while employed.
- 5+ years of automotive or diesel maintenance experience.
- Experience in a lead technician or management role preferred.
- Mechanic's tool set and willingness to participate in ASE certification program.
